GreenWorks 25302 G-MAX 40V Twin Force 20-Inch Cordless Lawn Mower

We have all passed through the point where you just sigh when we think about mowing the lawn. The mower is too noisy or you have to pull the gas cord countless times before the machine starts up or it breaks down before you complete your work.  Greenworks has the ultimate cordless lawn mower which uses a simple push-start button.

Features

GreenWorks 25302 G-MAX Mower ReviewThe GreenWorks 25302 G-MAX Mower  uses two electric motors to run two 10-inch blades. This machine is powered by two 40V lithium batteries with capacities of 4AH and 2AH. The bigger battery has a charging time of two hours, and the smaller one takes one hour. The batteries give the device a run-time of approximately one hour. The package comes complete with a charger, collection bag, and a mulch plug.

GreenWorks 25302 G-MAX Mower ReviewThe mower does a clean job as the twin blades produce a finer cutting, eliminating the need of mowing over the area repeatedly.  The container bag can accommodate the finer pieces of grass, leaving more room for storage of more grass.  A benefit of a wide cutting area is its excellent cutting performance for areas of medium size.  The innovative smart cut technology enables one to adjust the run-time depending on the length of the grass.  An automatic power switchover draws power from the second battery once the first battery is depleted.

The machine is light weight and about 45 pounds, making it easy to push across the lawn.  It has a single lever with five height adjustments between 1.25 and 3.125 inches to comfortably accommodate different users.  The big wheels (7-inch front and 10 inch rear) make it easy to maneuver the machine in various terrains.

Pros

One interesting point is the absence of noise.  This means that you can mow the lawn without blasting the sound in your iPod.  This eco-friendly mower does not produce carbon emissions (no smell of gas) or vibration which usually could cause your hands to swell.  The Lithium-Ion technology runs at full power with no memory loss.  This mower can accommodate both batteries which enable you to switch to the other once the other has died down.  It takes zero time to change between discharge, mulching and bagging as the tools are already attached.  The machine folds up easily for storage and can also be hanged by the handle.  The batteries do not heat up and can be recharged immediately after mowing.

Cons

Sometimes it takes a little bit of time before the device throttles up after detecting long grass. This means you may need go over some parts again. The mower uses more battery power when working on areas with thick grass.

Our Opinion

This twin-force mower is well worth the price and has gone above-and-beyond the needs their owners. GreenWorks designed the machine to be easy to maneuver and comfortable to use.  The combination of twin blades and dual-batteries have produced an efficient, time-saving machine.
